Our families were formed through domestic adoption, birth and international adoptions. Our friendship developed while waiting to travel to China to be united with our daughters.

As our friendship grew we discovered we both had a passion for the world and its many cultures. Out of those conversations came the idea for this venture…………

KG World Bazaar brings together an eclectic mix of products - jewelry, gifts, home décor, toys, books and holiday items from around the world. Our hope is to showcase products that are out of the ordinary, with a special focus on items obtained through Fair Trade Initiatives or from countries involved in international adoption.

What is Fair Trade?
"It means an equitable and fair partnership between marketers in North America and producers in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and other parts of the world. A fair trade partnership works to provide low-income artisans and farmers with a living wage for their work." © 1996-2002 Fair Trade Federation

Fair Trade was one of the ideas discussed during the recent LIVE8 Concerts and the G8 summit. Chris Martin of the band Coldplay is a big supporter of Fair Trade.
